Q: What is Okta?
A: Okta is Eaton's solution that provides end users, whether they’re part of our workforce or one of our business partners, with One Eaton Identity that’s used to access applications that reside in our data centers or in the Cloud. Okta enables users with the ability to sign-on to applications like TalentHub without needing to enter their username and password.
Q: What is my login ID?
A: You should use your Primary Email address to login. If you don't know your Primary Email address, you can find it by opening Outlook and looking at the top center for an email address. For users who do not have an Eaton assigned email address, you should use your Eaton ID (E or C Number).
Q: What is my Password?
A: Your password is the same as the one you use to login to your PC, also referred to as your “Network Password” or “Windows Password”.
Q: I got a new phone and need my Extra Verification set up again.
A: To get your Extra Verification settings reset please contact the GSC, or if you're connected to the Eaton Network and have an active JOE session started, you can submit a request through the IT Service Catalog form here.
Q: Why am I getting a password incorrect error?
A: This error can be caused by entering your password incorrectly OR by entering login ID incorrectly. Double check that you entered your login ID correctly, according to the instructions described above in “What is my login ID”. To verify your password is entered correctly you can use the "password peek" button on the right side of the password field.
